Justice Delayed, Served Twice Axel Rudakubana, a 19 year old convicted of killing three girls at a Taylor Swift themed dance event in Southport, has been charged with assaulting prison staff.
The charges, which include attempted grievous bodily harm relating to an incident in May 2025 and assault on an emergency worker two days earlier, have raised more questions than answers about the ongoing challenges of rehabilitating violent offenders.
Rudakubana's crimes were committed when he was just 17 years old, and his subsequent conviction saw him receive a minimum sentence of 52 years.
